Reed’s practice is focused on commercial litigation and the defense of financial crimes. He brings an extensive background in finance that spans a variety of legislative, regulatory, and compliance roles. Reed has a keen eye for detail and uses his in-depth knowledge of the financial industry to advocate on behalf of business clients and find pragmatic solutions.
Reed earned his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a member of the Criminal Law Society. As a State Government Affairs Extern with the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) during law school, Reed monitored and tracked state and local initiatives for financial regulation and analyzed regulatory proposals to determine their impact on SIFMA firms. Prior to law school, Reed completed his undergraduate studies magna cum laude in political science at The George Washington University.
